On Father's Day, Steve and I discussed our garage and came up with a plan. Our problem was to find a way for both vehicles to be inside during the winter. The secondary problem was to make space for Steve's workshop and a wide array of woodworking tools.

After much deliberation, we decided upon a solution that, while not perfect, seemed within our realm of capability to implement.

Plan, version 1

Replace the roof on the existing garage to create more storage. Fix the garage until the car can fit inside along with the workshop. Remove the back driveway behind the garage and replace it with a garden. Fence the east side of the yard and the remaining section on the south side. Build a second garage in the southwest corner of our yard (i.e. the garden).
