Col. John McCrae (author of the world-famous World War I poem 'In Flanders Fields') and those of his father Major David McCrae - see CNJ : Vol. 42, no. 10, p. 510 for a first hand account authored by Marvin Kay of this historically significant auction sale, with particular emphasis on the lots of McCrae medals
